New Cancellation/no-show policy:

One of our goals at Back on Track Veterinary Hospital and Rehabilitation Center is to provide quality care in a timely manner.  We have implemented an appointment cancellation/no-show policy which enables us to better utilize available appointments for patients' needs. This applies to all appointments, including rehabilitation appointments.  Please be courteous and call the clinic promptly if you are unable to attend your appointment and we request that you give us at least 24 hours notice.  Available appointments are in high demand and your early cancellation notice will give another patient the opportunity to make use of our allotted time.

We understand that unexpected emergencies or events may cause you to have to reschedule within less than 24 hours notice.  However, if you fail to call to cancel within a timely manner more than one time per year you will be asked to pay a cancellation fee of $25.

A no-show is defined as someone who is not on the premises within 10 minutes of their scheduled appointment at time.  If you arrive late to your appointment the receptionist will see if we are still able to see your pet that day.  If we are not, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment.  Be mindful that our appointments are scheduled right after one another and because of this the doctor may not have time to give your pet the full exam and care it needs before the next appointment arrives.  If you miss more than one of your scheduled appointments per year without any notice, you will be charged the cost of the exam/office visit or rehabilitation session.

We will do our very best to remain on time, and keep you informed of delays.  We do see emergencies or urgent care patients on a daily basis, which are not always easy to predict.

When booking an appointment, please inform our team of your concerns so that we schedule appropriately.  If you have a routine appointment booked (for example your pets routine examination) and you have a list of concerns or something comes up between the time of booking and the actual appointment, please inform us ahead of time so that we can adjust the length of the appointment.

We value all of our clients and patients and will continue to strive to give excellent care in as timely a manner as we can.  Thank you for entrusting us with your beloved pet's care!
