National Dog Bite Prevention Week®

Babies naturally love to touch, hug, and kiss. And no matter how calm you think your pet is, they aren't necessarily prepared for the quick, unpredictable movements of a child. Because children are the most frequent victims of a dog bite, training pets and children how to interact is important to avoid the problem.

Dr. Witten of Back On Track Veterinary Services, conducts a session at Mercy Hospital on Preparing Your Pet for Your New Baby. For more information and to register online, visit Mercy Hospital's website, or call 314-961-BABY (2229).
